Abyssal Escape Skins

Killer skins in Abyssal Escape are more than recolors. According to the developer, a skin can have its own animations, voice lines, intro, spawn effect and chase theme. Not every killer has one yet. The Deity has the most. Survivors don't use skins: you design your own look instead (see the survivors guide).

2011X

In game

A creepier model based on the 2011 version of X, remodeled in March 2026. It has its own chase theme and layers, its own Peekaboo theme, a different laugh and new stun lines.

The Disaster X (TDX)

In game

Brings back X from the older Roblox game The Disaster. Announced as a free skin, with the original chase music (added with permission). Gameplay videos show it has no intro animation.

Furnace

After players complained about Furnace's chase theme in October, the developer swapped in a different version of his chase layers and made the other version a 20-ring skin.

The developer said a classic Fleetway skin was coming “soon” in April 2026. No release date yet.

No More Innocence and 2017X

No skins have been confirmed for No More Innocence or 2017X. Both already have a second form in Phase 3, which you could think of as a built-in transformation.

What a skin can change

  • Model and textures
  • Idle, run and attack animations, plus move animations
  • Voice lines, including stun lines
  • Intro cutscene (some skins, like TDX, don't have one)
  • Spawn effects
  • Chase theme and its layers

Abilities, damage and phase behavior stay exactly the same, so pick whichever skin you like.

FAQ

Do skins change abilities?

No. Abilities and damage are the same on every skin. Skins can change a lot else, though: animations, move animations, voice lines, intros, spawn effects and chase themes.

How do you get skins in Abyssal Escape?

With rings, the currency you earn by playing. For example, Furnace's alternate chase theme skin costs 20 rings, and TDX was announced as free. We'll add other prices once we've confirmed them.

Do No More Innocence or 2017X have skins?

None confirmed yet. The developer said at launch that not every killer would have a skin.

Can survivors have skins?

Survivors don't use skins. You build your own look in the vessel editor instead. See the survivors page.
